SUMMARY:Volunteer Fingerprinting
DESCRIPTION:All those who or volunteer at Our Lady of Peace Church MUST fingerprinted. \nClick here for the complete list of volunteer requirements. \nIn order to make the process work efficiently and avoid confusion\, anyone who is approved to be a volunteer to be fingerprinted needs to take a Verify Group Live Scan. Volunteers without the form signed by a Supervisor or Coordinator will not be fingerprinted. The fingerprints are taken once and are good forever as long as you are volunteering or working with in the Diocese of San Jose. \nEveryone needs to do the SAFE Environment online training at www.virtusonline.org on the course titled “Protecting God’s Children”. If you have contact with elderly or other vulnerable adults\, also do the “Vulnerable Adults” training. Print the certificates at the end of each training and turn it in to your supervisor or coordinator. The certificates expire every 3 years and the training has to be done again. The required “Volunteer Activities Waiver” form will be available for anyone who hasn’t completed the form yet. \nWe have scheduled SAFE Environment Training and Fingerprinting as follows: \nWhen: Tuesday\, September 4\, 2018\nTime: Fingerprinting from 6:30pm to 7:15pm\nSAFE Environment Training starts at 7:15pm\nWhere: Family Learning Center Gym \nPlease RSVP to Clorie Lopez at clopez@dsj.org.
