A talk on culture and the cultivation of virtue

Is one affected by the culture that they live in?  This talk will try to explore how culture and some different aspects of culture impact us as individuals—helping us or hindering us in our cultivation of virtue and our search for something more.  Echoing the words of Dr. John Senior, whose thought the talk will draw upon: “I am simply the janitor.  It is my job to open the door and show you the riches and treasures of the best that has been written and said down through the centuries.”

Theology-on-Tap SV (Silicon Valley) is an opportunity for young adults (ages 21-39) to explore issues and topics that relate to the Catholic faith in a fun and casual environment. No need to RSVP and NO admission cost! We host various talks by both religious and lay speakers to encourage thoughtful discussions and a deeper understanding of the faith, and we operate in complete fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
