In most cases, receiving Sacraments requires some preparation. Below are some general information and guidelines. For more information, contact the rectory or CCD office at Our Lady of Peace.

Baptism

Baptisms are performed on Saturdays at 3:30 P.M. English baptisms are on the first Saturday of the month and Spanish baptisms are on the second Saturday of the month. To register for baptism, please go to this page: baptism requirements.

Confession Times

Confessions are held during every Sunday Mass in the Church, during most regularly scheduled weekday Masses, between 3:30PM to 5PM every Saturday, and (at other times by necessity) by appointment through the rectory.

First Communion

First Communion requires some religious education prior to receiving the Sacrament. Generally, preparation for First Communion can vary depending on your child’s age and maturity. Contact the CCD office for more information.

Confirmation

Confirmation requires some religious education prior to receiving the Sacrament. Generally, preparation can vary depending on age. Contact the CCD office for more information for teens and contact the Adult Religious Education office for adults.

Matrimony

Arrangements should begin at least six months in advance of the wedding date. Call the Rectory at (408) 988-4585 to arrange a meeting with a priest who will set your wedding date. Weddings are scheduled on Saturdays only (time slots are 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM).
