Rally for Life 2022

On Friday January 21st, we will be hosting the youth rally for all teenagers in the Family Learning Center from 4pm to 8:30pm. The event will include talks on the Gift and Beauty of Life by the religious Sisters of Life from New York. In a society that suffers from numerous anxieties, fears, and doubts, our teenagers are the ones being swallowed up by great lies. Life is good and we desire all the youth to know and live by this truth! This is a FREE event which will also include food and moments of prayer. If you are interested, please grab a flyer or see one of the Sisters after Mass.

Sr. Mercy will present on the below themes at the Rally for Life- with support from Sr. Rose Patrick.  These Sisters of Life are visiting from New York and believe passionately about the gift and mystery of human life.  The evening presentations will include interactive games, a live musical performance, and accompanying videos.

Talk 1:  Chosen & Wanted:  Exploring the Gift of Life
Every person is good, unique, valuable, and unrepeatable.  But sometimes we can forget that.  We can forget that we’re made for greatness, and instead we can measure ourselves and others by false standards.  Together let’s explore the truth about LIFE – that God has created each of us as a completely unique and irreplaceable masterpiece. You are chosen and wanted, and your life matters.

Talk 2:  Life is VERY Good:  Living and Giving Hope
We often find ourselves surrounded by a Culture of Death – experiences of isolation, of fear, and hopelessness.  What if things were different?  What if you brought about the change the world needs?  Discover anew what it means to be part of a Culture of Life, a culture that joyfully celebrates that life is VERY good and proclaims the truth of God’s love, purpose, and plan for each person.
